Barack Obama!! I have kind of kept a low profile as to which way I was leaning, but I have to say that I am definitely extremely happy that Obama has won the election :D. This is such a monumental event in this country's history and I feel so honored to be living in a time when things like this are possible. My eyes filled with tears as I watched his speech last night because it marks such a milestone in history! It reminded me so much of Martin Luther King's famous speech and brought a smile to my face.

I'm inspired by that fact that we can look beyond someone's race and just see a man and share the same believes, values and ideas as he. To not look at separate parties but to come together as one~ that is what fills my heart with hope and happiness. I am looking ahead to a much brighter future for all Americans and everyone around the world! =)
