Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween everyone! In the spirit of the occasion I thought it would be fun to list my top 15 favorite scary movies. I'm a really big fan of these types of movies, so it was hard to narrow it down to 15. These are just some of my personal favorites and I realize that not everyone will agree, so I would love to find out what other people's favorites are. Please feel free to comment with your list and/or remark about...

Carrie (1976)
Final Destination 2
Friday the 13th
Halloween (1978)
I Know What You Did Last Summer
Nightmare on Elm Street
Psycho (1960)
The Exorcist
The Haunting (1999)
The Lost Boys
The Omen (1976)

Ooo scary movies. I used to say I love them but now days it seems gore = horror and that to me isn't true. If gore is used correctly its good and cool and awesome but there is a limit in overdoing it like in the Saw series. I watched the first 2 and I didn't really like them.
I say all this but I will be the first person to tell you I love Jason & Freddy movies. Maybe I am little bias and hypocritical about it.
I love Freddy, in the later movies he was kinda funny. But the idea of not sleeping because he can kill you is a scary thought.
I love Jason movies but I didn't care for the first one because it wasn't Jason doing it. I did really like Freddy vs. Jason. I thought that was pretty awesome seeing my 2 favorite killers fighting each other!

Actually another good scary movie is the first Child's Play. The 2nd one isn't too bad either but the first one was really good and pretty scary.

Another good horror movie I love is Killer Klowns from Outer Space. Although its not scary but I still love that movie! LOL

Okay so this comment got totally long! Hope you have a Happy Halloween!!!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Lora! I forgot about Child's Play, that was pretty disturbing actually :D.

How was your Halloween?? Had fun?
We didn't celebrate it, wich is sad because I think I'd love it ;)

I saw Scream YEARS ago in theatre and boy how I was terrified of going to dark places after that film LOL

My Halloween was nice, just stayed in and watched some scary movies :).

Scream is definitely one of the scariest movies I've ever seen, but I didn't get to see in the theater!
