Where Has the Time Gone?
What is going on? It's September already? I cannot get over how fast this year has flown by, it's actually pretty scary when you think about it. I want to give a collective shout out to all those returning/starting school. I wish you much luck in this new academic year, and hope you get nothing but As in all of your subjects!! :D

I would also like to with my friend misscla a very Happy Birthday today. I hope you have a wonderful day surrounded by those you love, and get everything your heart desires! *hugs*
happy birthday to you

I know exactly how you feel, 2009 is really flying by! When I think about certain things that happened in January, I can't believe how long ago that actually was. :O
Kristin: Dumbokristypadalecki on September 1st, 2009 11:03 pm (UTC)
That's so true. In some way it seems like it was just January, but in others it seems like such a long time ago!

I know what you mean...The year always just flies right by! Only 4 months until Christmas! Can't believe that.

The summer flew by so fast. But I'm so glad it's September! Enough of this heat!

I know what you mean, especially the summer has gone by way too quickly. *mopes* Probably because it hasn´t been all to great over here.

Btw, beautiful icon!

And where are You from? When do people usually start learning in Your country????
Kristin: Heath Ledgerkristypadalecki on September 2nd, 2009 05:31 pm (UTC)
I'm from the US. Do you mean what time of the year or at what age?
mary_telford on September 3rd, 2009 10:56 am (UTC)
What time of the year?
In Russia - 1st of September - traditionally Knowledge Day. All pupils and students start learning.
Kristin: Heath Ledgerkristypadalecki on September 3rd, 2009 05:30 pm (UTC)
In September too. The first day of classes varies a little bit depending on which schools you attend.
mary_telford on September 4th, 2009 10:26 am (UTC)
As for us - it doesn't really matter, if you're 7 or 20 years old - everyone starts on 1st.
Kristin: Heath Ledgerkristypadalecki on September 4th, 2009 04:45 pm (UTC)
We have a holiday here called Labor day and typically school starts the day after that. Labor day is the first monday in Sept. so that's why the first day of school varies a little! Confusing, isn't it?
mary_telford on September 5th, 2009 10:17 am (UTC)
Maybe....well, I cannot say, cause I do not know, how it's like....
But I know, that it's terrible, when 1st of September is Monday (like it was last year) - after holidays...6 days of learning - Oh.....
Well I'm very lazy.....
Kristin: Heath Ledgerkristypadalecki on September 5th, 2009 08:17 pm (UTC)
I can imagine, that must stink when that happens!

It is REALLY scary how fast this year is going! It really seems like just yesterday it was New Year's Day! And now it's September! Unbelievable!

I so remember how happy I was when spring was finally there... and now it's fall *frustrated*
Well okay, it'll be chilly, windy and dark. But also cozy and with lots of festivities and opportunities to make the home/ room more like a warm and comfortable nest :)

It is frustrating, I hate when the time flies by like that! I am looking forward to the colder weather and all of the holidays and family things that come with winter too. <3
