A Mixed Bag
I wanted to start out by mentioning that today would have been John Lennon's 68th birthday, had he lived. He gave us all such a tremendous gift through his musical genius and he is greatly missed <3!

My birthday was on the 4th and I got a new iPod Nano so I'm really excited and looking forward to using it and downloading some new songs. :)

I decided to change my layout again, with this lovely one I found by ruemadame! I really think it's nice and I'm working on a header to add which I hope will be done in the next couple of days. I'm also working on creating my own David Thewlis mood theme. I tried asking around if there was one out there at various 'mood theme' communities but no one really responded, so I thought I'd have a go at making my own :D! It sure is very tedious work, but I'm enjoying it nonetheless.

Speaking of David Thewlis, I just happened to stumble upon this LJ community today (flushed_icons) and they have quite a collection of DT themed icons *faints*! If you're a fan I would definitely recommend checking it out <3.

My brother is on his way to Colorado for a graduate architechure project he's working on, so I'm quite nervous. I always hate when he has to fly anywhere, but he's supposed to call tonight and let us know he got there safely so I'll be anxiously awaiting that!

I tried making my own mood theme once, it is tedious, but worth it! You just need to make sure you keep the pics small and the same size!

That thing your brother is going to sounds really impressive! I'm sure he will get there fine. :)

I am enjoying making my mood theme, just taking a lot of time. I'm using a 70x40 size so I think that's a decent size. The toughest part for me is trying to find pictures to match the different emotions!

Yes, I'm so proud of my brother, he has worked so hard to become an architect. He's in the graduate program at Harvard University and each semester they have these different 'studios' where they visit different places and have a design project in those particular areas. I'm not exactly sure what the project is this time, some kind of neighborhood community thing. He'll also be touring some of the local museums while in Colorado as well :).

I think the Harry Potter films are the only thing I have seen him in, oh, and Van Helsing. Good luck! :)

Aww, that sounds fabulous, and I am sure he will have a great career if he's graduating from Harvard!

Oh and Happy Lennon day to you too!

David's awesome in the Harry Potter films, but I think you might have him mixed up with David Wenham, who was in Van Helsing ;). No worries!

My brother truly is a brilliant mind, I wish I had just a tenth of it!

Oh God, no, Faramir?! lol. I thought your David was in it too, hmm. I have definitely seen him in something else acting all geekish! :D
