Yay, it's Wednesday!

Happy April Fool's Day everybody! Sorry I haven't posted for a few days, nothing much going on. I've been especially tired due to my medication and haven't felt very motivated. D: I guess we have decided that my dog is alright. We haven't spoken to the vet again but have been monitoring his head shaking and fly biting, but it just doesn't seem possible that he has anything as severe as a seizure disorder. He doesn't display any signs that I would think he'd have and acts like a normal, young dog, so we're keeping our fingers crossed that everything will be okay. Thanks again to all of you who expressed your concern and helpful comments. *hugs*

I'm so glad LOST is on tonight, I can't wait to see how things are going to play out. I'm sure it will be as confusing as ever and leave us with more questions! o.O

I'm glad to hear your dog is doing okay. If you feel you need to, I would recommend getting a second opinion from another vet if your current vet doesn't do what you want. When my mom and I had my dog fixed about 3 years ago, she didn't get the care she should have. For one, when any dog gets fixed, they are usually up and around within a day or two. However my dog was laid up for weeks before she was normal again. And two, she kept getting these absesses on her incision and each time one popped, we'd find suture string stuck in the absesses. And each time the string was longer and longer. Oh you wanna talk about mad. Ever since then we've been going to another vet who is totally awesome.

Yeah that's a good suggestion. I will pass it along to my parents and see what they say. I'm sorry about what your dog had to go through after getting fixed, that's terrible! My Damon should get fixed too, but I have no idea when it's going to happen.

I think we have finally found a good vet's office, so I'm confident they will do right by Damon if/when we need to have anything done. *prays*

Fly-biting. Never heard of it but it reminds me of our dogs who at times keep biting in the air: chasing flies. Yes, they can be quite obnoxious :/
Anyway.
Honey I pray he's okay and will live happily ever after with you and your family.
I hope it turns out it's nothing to be concerned of.

Don't say that! You've got a life, we can't always keep up with everything. It has been sunny here off and on, although it's supposed to rain tomorrow. D: How is the weather where you are?

Fly-biting is just biting at the air minus the flies. I'd never heard of it either but I just don't think it's anything that unusual. Thanks so much for your prayers! *hug* I will definitely post if there any changes, positive or negative.

Thanks, I hope he will continue to be alright. I'll definitely update if anything changes.

The medication I'm taking is an anti-depressant. It's kind of humiliating to mention as I don't want people to treat me differently, you know? D:

It´s not humiliating at all! If you only knew how many people are struggling like that.
My dad has been using them for about a year or so and they are working really well on him. Hope it´s the same for you. :o)
