What's This, Another Birthday?  
There seem to be quite a few birthdays that occur in the month of March! I'd like to wish my friend xbittersweet89x a very Happy Birthday today. I hope you have a lovely day and get everything your heart desires. =)

On a little sidenote, I finally had the chance to watch The Boy in the Striped Pajamas and was it ever good. I thought everyone in the cast played their roles brilliantly, especially the young boy who played Bruno. I had read the book a while back so I knew what the outcome of the story was and it's extremely difficult to see it played out visually. It was very heartbreaking and poignant. I don't know if anyone else has seen it, but if you have, I'd love to know what you thought!

happy birthday! i konw what you mean. I have a lot of friends who's birthday's are this month. I've wanted to see that movie. I'll have to check it out! talk to you later! i'm off to beddie bye! lol

I want to see The Boy in the Striped Pajamas but i wanted to wait until i'd read the book. Onlything is that i have a huge stack of books on my to-read pile so i may have to give in and just rent the movie.
No doubt it will make me weep buckets. :(

It's a really quick read, it shouldn't take too long. I'd recommend reading it first just so you have a better understanding and will be more prepared for what you're about to see.

Yep, i really should hold out because as a rule i always like to read the book before i see the film.

Random question i know but have you read The Book Thief by Markus Zusak?

Its wonderful.
Totally heartbreaking mind you, i wept like a baby after i finished it but i'd certainly recommend it.

I've seen it. The ending tore my soul apart. Brilliantly laid out, very good. I've wanted to read the book, but I think the movie was very well done.

I completely agree with you. The book is a really fast read, so I would definitely recommend reading it!
