Very Sad News

As some of you on my f-list from the US may or may not know, there was a plane crash in a residential area around 10:20 last night. D: The plane crashed right into a house killing one person and all 50 people on board. I am extremely shaken up because this happened to occur only a few miles from where I live and I just can't believe it. Our local news shows reported on nothing else last night and continuing today. The story has even reached the national news, so perhaps some of you have seen the coverage. This terrible tragedy really brings to light just how fragile & vulnerable we all are, and how precious life is. I am definitely going to try much harder to treasure every day that I have with my family and those most dear, because you never know when something like this could occur. *scary*

To make matters worse, my brother is scheduled to fly home to Boston tomorrow and my whole family is in a state of panic! None of us want him on a plane, especially after what has transpired but he's determined on going back. If I could ask you all to please say a little prayer that my brother returns home safely, it would mean a great deal to me.
