Confessions of a Rambler
I just finished watching the TV series, Six Feet Under, and I cannot express enough how much I adore this show <3! I never really got into it when it originally aired, but after becoming a hardcore Dexter fan and crushing on Michael C. Hall, I decided to give it a watch. I wasn't sure if I'd like it and there was a small part of me that had a hard time watching, even up until the last episode, because I am not good with the issue of death. I thought in watching, it would be good therapy for me! :D

A very innovative and creative show, I thought. All of the actors were brilliant in their roles, my favorite, of course, being Michael C. Hall's character, David Fisher. He is such an amazing actor, I wish he'd get the acknowledgement he deserves. I know he's been nominated for Dexter several times, but he never wins and it's a shame. Anyone else a fan of the show? What are your thoughts?

Now to change gears for a moment, I am supposed to go see RENT tomorrow afternoon and I'm very excited about it, but very nervous as well. D: I am very uneasy among big groups of people and it's extremely uncomfortable for me, plus I have't been feeling the greatest. I think I might be getting that dreaded cold that the rest of my family's had. My throat has been really hurting for the last couple of days, so I just hope I feel well enough to go tomorrow!

I also found this post @ laceribbon's LJ featuring a certain graphics artist with examples of their work and a link to their journal. I thought this was a wonderful idea and something I am going to start doing here at my LJ! I am really into stock icons (as well as others that feature certain fandoms I like) and there are amazing and creative people out there that deserve recognition and perhaps a little 'plugging' shall we say. ;D I will try and write my first post for this a little bit later today, after I find the perfect candidate.

I have been meaning to download and start watching Dexter. Mainly because Ricky Gervais rec'd it! lol. Also good luck at Rent. I got to see it live, too. It was awesome!

It definitely can be rather depressing, but I also found it very humorous at times! You really should watch the rest of the series, it's worth it. =D

I know, it is hard to try and watch on entire series. What I did was I got the discs via Netflix and just watched them at my own pace! =)
