A Plethora of Birthdays  
I would like to send out Happy Birthday wishes to my lovely friends jorajo and loverswalk!! I wish you both much happiness and hope you are able to spend this time with your family and loved ones. *hugs*

Today also happens to be Michael Shanks' birthday! He is turning 38 and I can't believe how quickly the time has gone by since Stargate SG-1 premiered in 1997. He still looks darn fine if you ask me. ;D I hope you have a wonderful day, Michael, with many more to come <3!! I've included a few of my favorite pics if anyone is interested.






Addendum: I just realized that today is the last day to purchase a permanent LJ account! O_o I truly wish I could afford one but there is no way. $175 is completely outrageous, I think. Besides the main reason I really would like one is to get the extra userpics, which makes it even more silly to spend that kind of money. I wish LJ would allow paid users to purchase more than just the initial 100 extra userpics! D: As long as we don't mind paying for it I think it should be an option. What do you guys think?

I SO love the first one, totally yummy. No3, i was actually there. It was the day before my 30th birthday. Had a great time :) Were you there?

I know, I always drool a little when I look at it! :D Unfortunately I was not at the convention (wish I had been), but sadly no. I'm glad you were able to attend and had a wonderful time! I hope I'll get a chance to meet Michael someday.

LJ DEFIANTLY NEEDS TO GIVE US MORE THAN 100 USERPICS, I'D EVEN PAY EXTRA.
I stand firm by this opinion. lol

I completely agree! I would be willing to pay another $10 for an extra 100 userpics a year. I wish there was something we could do to make it happen.

I wonder? I did e-mail kazwell who said he was part of LJ and told him all of my thoughts/ideas and he seemed to agree with me. Perhaps you could write to him too! :D

Definitely! I told him I thought it would be fair for us paid users to have the option of purchasing more than the initial 100 userpics if we so desire. Even if it's a smaller number, like 30-50. He said he liked my ideas but I have no idea if anything will come of it.

He'd asked me why I was so interested in more userpics and I told him that I had many different fandoms and interests and liked having more than one icon expressing those things. I hate using the same old icons over and over, its' so much nicer to have a wide variety, you know? It would still be so much cheaper than spending $175.

It would be great if you dropped him a line, perhaps it would make a difference! *fingers crossed*
