Happy Belated Supernatural Day!
So, yesterday was a rather bum day because I was missing my Sara and feeling sad. The only light glimmering in the darkness was definitely the new episode of Supernatural! I was completely blown away and loved every minute of it.

Highlights:

  • Castiel confronting Anna and revealing that Sam was his friend- melted my heart completely. ♥

  • Yay for getting to see the young Winchester parents again, they are so awesome!

  • Aww, Sammy's initial reaction to seeing his mother was beyond precious- Jared you do it to me everytime. *cries*

  • John finding out that Mary had been raised as a hunter, chasing/killing monsters her entire life.

  • The conversation John has with Sam about bringing kids into that awful way of life and how he couldn't imagine ever doing that- so sad.

  • Dean telling Mary that he and Sam are her children from the future, and once again, trying to warn her about not going into Sam's nursery- totally heartbreaking! *cries again*

  • Oh no, not again, Sammy! :(

  • Michael inhabiting John and smoking Anna- Awesomesauce. :D Even though I used to like Anna, I didn't care for her one bit in this episode.

  • Seeing Michael for the first time made me realize this whole apocalypse showdown is really happening, and what lies ahead for Sam & Dean is so scary!

  • Aww, Mary pregnant with Dean at the end. ♥ *cries yet again*

What did you guys think? I wish the ratings could have been higher, especially for such an incredible and important episode. I hope they will improve as the rest of the season continues, it's so deserving!

They didn't show the episode in some states because of a game.

How many times Sammy will die? Michael appeared and we like him :D

Figures. Of all the episodes to not show, they had to pick one of the best ones?

I know! I can't stand seeing Sammy die, it's so heartbreaking. :( I liked Michael too.

I totally loved this episode! It was epic!

I couldn't agree more to you! I used to like Anna, but I didn't care for her when Michael killed her!

And the talk Sam and John had - and also the talk Dean an Mary had - was so so sad! I hoped that Dean would tell Mary... and it was horrible that she lost her memories about it at the end!

I will re-watch this episode for sure!

    *hugs you tightly*

    I know, right?

This episode was by far one of the best ones of the series! The scenes between the young Winchesters and Dean & Sam were just heartbreaking and so sweet. ♥

I'm sure I'll be watching this episode many times too!

    *hugs back*

I liked Anna too, and was a bit disappointed how the writers completely turned her around in this episode. A build up would've been nice - first she's a friend, the good one, and then suddenly she's trying to kill Sammy. Eh? lol

I know, I couldn't understand why Anna went rogue all of the sudden! :/ Oh well, she get what was coming to her and Sammy is safe, that's what is important. ♥

I think Anna had to change her tune after going to jail. She was probably sent down to earth to kill Sam no matter how she had to do it, and if she didn't accomplish it, she would be killed. She accomplished it, but apparently Michael isn't in league with whoever in heaven ordered Anna to kill Sam, so he killed her and resurrected Sam--thank whoever!

I assume that Anna was severely punished in heaven and given orders to do as she was told--or else! This was probably her last chance assignment.

    Love, Robin

That's true. I still wish they hadn't written the character so differently, as I really liked her before this! :(

Wasn't it? I tend to like those emo episodes though. Jared does such a brilliant job of being sad and emotional. ♥ I'm so glad Sammy's death wasn't permanent. I wish the writers would stop killing him! *hugs back*

I pretty much agree with everyone you said! I used to like Anna too, but I really disliked her in this episode.

It scares me just thinking about the whole thing... I like how they're "Team Free Will" and all, but I still worry about what could happen. *sigh* Guess I'll try not to agonize over it too much... I think it'd drive me crazy!

Yeah, I was disappointed in the ratings, too. I think part of the problem was that in some markets there were basketball or football games instead, so it didn't air everywhere. Just our luck that it happens with our show! I hope we have better luck next week.

I know, it scares me too! I just don't want it to end with them having to fight each other, that will totally suck. :(

I heard that it didn't air in some places too, and that is SO unfair! Why did it have to be on thursday? I hope you're right and next week's ratings improve. *crosses fingers*

Glad you had something to look forward to that day. I've been wondering, since you're a dog lover, have you either watched or read Marley & Me? It's a cute story, but sad at the end. The movie was good, but I liked the book better!

I have not read the book or seen the Marley and Me and to be honest, I don't know if I could get through either of them! I always get very emotional watching/reaching about animals and I haven't had the strength to do it yet!
